Delegate on Tour!
22 May 2014
Delegate Recruitment have recently returned from a whistle stop tour of Europe, appearing at a variety of job fairs within a two week period.
First stop was beautiful Prague (would highly recommend a short break here by the way) where we were greeted with some much needed sunshine and around 1500 visitors to this Bilingual People Job Fair held in the Clarion Congress Hotel in the New Town.
Back to Dublin just in time to make the flight to Rome 12 hours later. A nice trip through the lush countryside, vineyards and olive groves to Campobasso, where Delegate were part of another large exhibition, one of 60 employers from the Italian Navy/Marines to local wineries. In all the Job Day received over 2000 visitors.
Then it was off to university in Termoli (a lovely seaside town) for a slightly smaller fair aimed at students and local job seekers with a few hundred attendees. Difficult to get back in to the swing of the job fairs after a very Italian lunch consisting of 5 courses!
After a diversion through Paris we arrived in Dublin just in time for 3000 job seekers at the Bilingual People Dublin event held at the renowned Croagh Park. A very busy day for the entire team and amazingly skilled and dedicated job seekers – one candidate was actually on holiday from Brazil (lucky for him he’d be home in time for the World Cup)!
The final leg of the tour was exhibiting at another fair in Bordeaux. A more intimate event but important on the job fair schedule for Delegate as it is traditionally a good match for the large graduate numbers seeking overseas experience.
Since launching in 2009 at one such Job Fair in Amsterdam, Delegate Recruitment has always pushed the value of not only providing excellent support to clients online and over the phone, but also providing an active presence in the countries that it helps to recruit within.
Delegate prides itself on visiting clients in their home countries for face to face meetings as well as regularly attending job fairs all over Europe. It is Delegate’s hope to eventually have an ambassador on the ground in each of the countries we work with, to help the newly recruited to settle into their new homes and new jobs.
