Delegate Celebrates 5 years with New Berlin Office
Local multilingual recruitment business, Delegate International Recruitment, has opened its first overseas office in Berlin, Germany. The company¹s expansion will create a further six jobs in its Belfast office within the next 15 months and four new positions in the Berlin site.
Delegate, which currently employs ten people in its Belfast office, specialises in sourcing professionals with language skills for companies across Europe. It exports approximately 70% of its services to 12 countries.
The announcement was made as the company celebrated its fifth anniversary, and the inauguration of its Belfast base as Delegate¹s official European Head Office.
Anne Murphy, Director and founder of Delegate International Recruitment, remarked:
“We are proud to announce the opening of our office in the Berlin Mitte district, as well as the expansion of our Belfast base. Delegate has carved out a niche within the recruitment industry. It has acknowledged the demand which exists within the European market for individuals who are not only experts within their field but who also have the linguistic acumen to assist businesses trading in various international markets.”
Speaking at the launch event, The Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councillor Nichola Mallon said:

Moreover, Delegate¹s success in the language sector is an indication of the importance of enhancing the linguistic ability of our local workforce in order to compete for jobs and contracts internationally both now and over the long term.”
