Delegate Recruitment Wins Best New Business Award
Belfast based, Delegate Recruitment, a multi-lingual recruitment specialist, has won the Best New Business Award in the Belfast Business Awards 2011.
Delegate Recruitment, which is entering its second year of trading, not only attracts skilled individuals to work in Northern Ireland but it facilitates the placement of linguists who are keen to avail of opportunities in other European and international countries. In fact, export business currently accounts for around 40% of Delegate’s trade.
Commenting on the achievement, Anne Murphy, Director, Delegate Recruitment said:
“I’m absolutely delighted to have won the Best New Business category. Like everyone who takes the plunge and sets up their own business, often there can be challenges which seem very daunting in the first few years. Sheer determination and conviction of purpose, are often the aspects that you draw upon to drive business forward and I feel this award is an acknowledgement of those strengths.
“I really enjoy what I do. I really enjoy meeting people; I find it very interesting to hear about their experience and help them to secure a job that not only meets their skills set but which helps them to further their career prospects. I attend recruitment fairs all across Europe and it is inspiring to see the range of talented, skilled individuals who are really keen to live and work in Belfast. As a city, Belfast has so much to offer, and as a Belfast Visitor and Convention Bureau Ambassador, I play an active role in promoting Belfast to European businesses.”
European organisations acknowledge the talent that exists in Northern Ireland and are keen to promote their vacancies in this marketplace. Anne explains:
“We are living in an increasingly mobile environment. People are prepared to travel for work and increasingly prepared to relocate for their ideal job. Delegate Recruitment, aims to ensure that local people are aware of the opportunities that exist in international companies and that they have the mechanisms to access them.”
Anne continues: “We use the latest technology to facilitate candidate presentation, so that distance is no longer the disadvantage that it may previously have been. Candidates can create visual CV’s which allow their communication skills, linguistic capability and personality to shine through.”
